Join us for a beautiful fall afternoon at the flower farm in historic Gold Hill, NC!
We'll guide you step by step as you create a beautiful, long-lasting fall arrangement using an 8–12 inch heirloom pumpkin, live succulent cuttings, moss and dried flowers. Rather than cutting or carving the pumpkin, we'll create the arrangement directly on top of the intact pumpkin, layering moss, succulents and dried floral materials to create a one-of-a-kind design.
Because the pumpkin remains completely intact, your finished arrangement can last throughout the fall with proper care—and the succulent cuttings can even be propagated afterward!
All materials needed to create one succulent pumpkin arrangement are included in the workshop fee. The workshop will last approximately 1–1½ hours.
This workshop is recommended for participants ages 12 and older. Participants under 16 must attend with a registered participating adult.
Registration is for one participant only. Due to limited seating, each person attending the workshop must have their own registration. Please do not bring unregistered guests, children or pets to the workshop.
This workshop will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly and bring sunscreen, bug spray, etc. We will move to a covered location in case of rain.
You are welcome to bring food and beverages, including beer and wine for guests 21 and older, to enjoy during the workshop.
Parking is located behind the Texaco Station building at 860 St. Stephens Church Rd. If that lot is full, additional parking is available next to Gold Hill Methodist Church or to the left of Mauney's.
Sorry, no refunds. Due to the perishable nature of this project, limited seating and advance preparation required for workshops, refunds are not given. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to have someone attend in your place. Thanks for understanding!
